Civilian casualties, mostly children by Turkish & affiliated groups’ shelling on Tal-Rifaat

At least 9 civilians, most of them children, have lost their lives and about 10 others have been seriously injured by the Turkish military and the affiliated Syrian armed opposition groups’ heavy shelling on the town of Tal-Rifaat, northern countryside of Aleppo.
The Turkish military and the affiliated Syrian armed opposition groups have targeted today the town of Tal-Rifaat with heavy artillery shelling. North-Press reporter confirmed that, the shelling targeted the civilian neighborhoods of Taal-Rifaat in conjunction with students' exit from their schools, noting that the death toll is likely to increase due to some critical cases among the injured civilians.
The renewed shelling by the Turkish-backed armed opposition groups on the town of Tal-Rifaat was launched from areas under their control in the northern countryside of Aleppo.
The town of Tall-Rifaat in the northern countryside of Aleppo is subjected to almost daily artillery shelling by the Turkish military and the affiliated armed opposition groups from areas of Afrin, Izaz and Marea.
Tall-Rifaat is home to more than 30,000 IDPs from the region of Afrin, who were forcibly displaced to the northern countryside of Aleppo due to the Turkish military invasion in Afrin on March 18, 2018.
