Manbij Military Council announces the killing of a foreign ISIS member in Manbij

On Friday, the Manbij Military Council said that its anti-terror units were able to kill an Islamic State group (ISIS) operative in a security operation inside the city of Manbij in northern Syria.
The military council added in a statement, that the anti-terror units monitored and followed up a foreign member of the group, “came from areas under the control of Turkish occupation to carry out a terrorist operation inside the city of Manbij,” to be killed.
Former leader of the Islamic State terrorist group, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, was killed on October 27, 2019, in the northern countryside of Idlib, by an airdrop operation supervised by the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and carried out by American special forces in cooperation with the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF). While the group's spokesman, Abu Hassan al-Muhajir, was also killed on October 28, 2019, near the town of Jarablus in northeastern Aleppo, northern Syria.
