Turkey brings trucks loaded with cement barriers amid violations by Syrian government forces in Idlib

On Tuesday, Turkish forces brought a military convoy and trucks loaded with cement barriers to the de-escalation zones in Idlib, concurrent with an artillery bombardment by Syrian government forces targeting the Aleppo and Idlib countrysides.

A field source in Idlib told North-Press that a Turkish military convoy consisting of dozens of military vehicles and trucks loaded with concrete barriers entered via the Kafr-Losin border point in northern Idlib and headed towards the Turkish observation posts in Mount (Jabal) al-Arbaeen, south of the city of Arihah in the southern countryside of Idlib province.

This comes while the Syrian government forces artillery targeted, on Tuesday morning, the areas of Sufuhon, al-Fateera, Ruwayha, and Kafar Aweed in the southern countryside of Idlib, and Taqad and Kafr Amah in the western countryside of Aleppo, amid flights of Russian warplanes and reconnaissance aircraft.

The ceasefire agreement that was signed in Moscow between the Russian and Turkish presidents on the 5th of last March within the de-escalation zones has entered its 33rd day, in light of some violations that were intensified yesterday, Monday, and today on Tuesday.
