On Tuesday, local residents loyal to the Syrian government intercepted a US patrol north of Hasakah, the second incident of its kind in less than a week.
Sources told North-Press that local residents of al-Dardara village in Abu Rasin in the Zarkan countryside (65 km north of Hasakah) and members of government forces tried to intercept American armored vehicles and threw stones at them while they were passing a government forces’ checkpoint on the outskirts of the village.

The five-second footage was filmed by a person standing among Syrian government soldiers on the side of the road, while stones were thrown over their heads towards the American armored vehicle.
