A motorcycle explosion occurred this morning nearby a Syrian Democratic forces base in the city of Hasaka in north-east Syria, the explosion was limited to material damage.
A military source in SDF told North-Press: “A motorcycle was parked beside the road, and was remotely detonated at about 11:30 am local time in front of Rashou wedding hall near SDF base in the eastern part of Al-Musheirfa neighborhood in Hasakah in northern Syria”.
The damage was limited to materials, without any human casualties, according to the Internal Security Forces (Asayish) in the area.
Furthermore, the military source confirmed that the explosion coincided with the start of the local municipality the works of rehabilitation and paving the affected road.
Following the explosion, the Internal Security Forces and the Syrian Democratic Forces imposed a security cordon around the location of the explosion.
It’s noteworthy that the city of Hasaka has recently witnessed a series of motorcycle bombings on the 11th of July and a bombing in front of SDF Military Police in the neighborhood of Geweran in Hasakah.
