The Yazidi House receives a girl from Al-Hawl camp to be sent back to her family in Sinjar

The Yazidi House in al-Jazira region (a council concerned with the Yazidi people affairs in north and eastern Syria) received a Yazidi girl, Yesterday, from the administration of Al-Hawl camp in order to be sent back to her family in Sinjar, Iraq.
According to the Yazidi House, the 7-year-old girl Mithra Rasho Khalaf, was brought back from Al-Hawl camp, which is run by the Autonomous Administration of North and Eastern Syria, after being identified among ISIS families, the 7-year-old Mithra is from the village of Siba Sheikh Khidr, in Sinjar also known as Shingal, she was kidnapped with other thousands of Yazidis, during the Islamic State attack on Sinjar back in 2014.
The Yazidi House will hand her over to Sinjar council later, to be delivered to her family.
With the return of Mithra, the number of Yazidi abductees who have been brought back to their families since the control of the Syrian Democratic Forces on the last stronghold of ISIS in Al-Baghoz, has reached 271 people.
It’s worth mentioning that the Islamic State (ISIS) has kidnapped about 6417 Yazidis during its attacks on the Yazidi region of Sinjar in the summer of 2014, while the fate of half of them is still unknown.
However, the SDF has restored hundreds of Yazidis during their military campaigns against ISIS militants during its control over the city of Raqqa and the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor.
