A motorcycle bomb exploded nearby a Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) center in the city of Hasakah.
According to a special military source told North-Press, the operation was done by a motorcycle detonated remotely in front of an SDF military police center in the neighborhood of Geweran in the city of Hasakah, northeastern Syria, about 12 p.m at local time, today’s afternoon.
The explosion resulted in material damage to a military police vehicle, while two members of the Syrian Democratic Forces were slightly injured.
According to local sources, the motorcycle was parked at the opposite side of the headquarters of the Military Police, as it exploded when a security patrol stopped by.
Following the explosion, the Internal Security Forces (Asayish) and the military forces imposed a security cordon around the location of the explosion and closed the road for pedestrians.
It’s worth mentioning that the city of Hasakah has recently witnessed several motorcycles and IED attacks, as the most recent three consecutive explosions targeted the neighborhoods of Al-Saliheyah and Kallasa on the 11th of July.
