Abdi called on the Syrian government to find “a proper solution for the current situation in northern Syria in general and the Kurdish cause in particular,  and the recognition of the Autonomous Administration in northeastern Syria along with the rights of the Kurdish people, within a  democratic and pluralistic Syria.”
Abdi added: “We have reconstituted the military councils, and today we will complete the reforming of SDF through a general military council that includes all military councils, and we will build military institutions,”  pointing out that the outputs of the meeting of the SDF command, “will be considered as a guarantee of an institutional work within the SDF institutions.”
Mazloum Abdi, the Commander-in-Chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) also pointed out that the current stage is “more difficult than the previous ones in terms of countering the Islamic State (ISIS), because those groups’ sleeper cells are hiding among civilians, which makes the mission of eliminating those terrorist cells even harder”.
