Israeli forces make incursions into Damascus countryside, Quneitra
QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – Israeli forces made simultaneous incursions into Syria’s Damascus countryside and Quneitra on Sunday afternoon, accompanied by artillery shelling and new military deployments.
Sources in Quneitra reported that an Israeli military force entered the al-Amal Farms area in northern Quneitra countryside. The force, consisting of four military vehicles, set fire to the Ummahat Taranjah Center before leaving the area.
Sources in Damascus countryside said an Israeli military force entered the Joura al-Louz area on the outskirts of Beit Jinn town in western Damascus countryside.
Minutes earlier, the Israeli army shelled the outskirts of Beit Jinn with seven artillery shells. No casualties were reported.
The sources said the developments created a state of concern and heightened vigilance among residents, who fear that the escalation could affect their daily lives.
