Israeli artillery strikes farmland in Quneitra
QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – Israeli forces shelled agricultural land surrounding the village of al-Samdaniyah al-Gharbiyah in the central countryside of Quneitra on Thursday, with three artillery shells landing in the area without causing casualties or material damage.
A local source told North Press that the shells struck farmland adjacent to the village, prompting concern among residents. The shelling did not result in injuries or damage to property.
The area has witnessed intermittent Israeli shelling in recent periods, with agricultural land and areas near the disengagement line occasionally coming under fire, raising concerns among local residents, particularly farmers who depend on the land for their livelihoods.
