QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman met Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa on Tuesday in the Saudi city of Jeddah, in an official visit aimed at discussing bilateral relations and regional developments.
Earlier in the day, al-Sharaa arrived at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, marking his first official visit to the Kingdom since assuming office.
According to official statements, the two sides held a meeting attended by senior officials from both countries. Discussions focused on ways to enhance and develop bilateral relations, particularly in the fields of economy, investment, and regional connectivity projects.
The talks also addressed the latest regional and international developments of mutual concern, though no further details were disclosed.
The meeting comes amid ongoing diplomatic engagements in the region, as countries seek to strengthen cooperation on economic and political levels.
