Syrian Interior Ministry declares Hawl Camp, prisons in NE Syria restricted zones
QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – The Ministry of Interior of the Syrian transitional government announced on Wednesday that Hawl Camp and several security prisons where forces have been recently deployed have been designated as fully restricted areas.
In a statement, the ministry said that “approaching these areas is strictly prohibited and violators will be held legally accountable.”
On Tuesday, the Media Center of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) announced that its forces had been forced to withdraw from Hawl Camp and redeploy to the outskirts of cities in northeastern Syria.
