Drone strike by Damascus forces claims child’s life in Aleppo countryside

QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – A child lost his life and another was injured on Thursday in a drone attack on Deir Hafer area in the northern countryside of Aleppo.

In a statement update, the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) said: “At exactly 4:00 p.m., factions affiliated with the Damascus government targeted the village of Dora in the western countryside of Deir Hafer with a suicide drone.”

The SDF clarified that the attack resulted in the death of one child and the injury of another, identified as 15-year-old Nasser al-Khalaf.

Local sources confirmed that the drone strike caused panic among residents, with families rushing to evacuate children from the targeted area.
