Israeli troops reported inside villages of Quneitra countryside
QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – Local sources reported on Thursday that Israeli forces carried out a new incursion into several villages in the southern countryside of Quneitra.
According to the sources, the Israeli military entered the area with two “Hummer” vehicles, beginning from Tel Ahmar al-Gharbi. The force moved along the road leading to Kudna village, then advanced to Ain Ziwan and finally reached Suwayseh, where troops spread inside the village and conducted searches of passersby.
The latest movement came after Israeli forces had already crossed into northern Quneitra villages and the town of al-Jalma in western Daraa countryside on Wednesday evening. During that operation, two young men were reportedly detained.
The sources emphasized that the Israeli force’s presence was limited to patrols and searches, with no reported clashes during the incursion.
