Government forces member and son injured in armed attack in Deir ez-Zor
QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – A member of the 86th Division of Syrian government forces and his son were injured on Wednesday evening in an armed attack by two unidentified assailants in central Deir ez-Zor, a North Press correspondent reported.
The attack occurred near the Clock Roundabout, formerly the supply center, while the two were riding a motorcycle. The extent of the injuries varied, and both were transported to Deir ez-Zor National Hospital for medical treatment.
According to the correspondent, attacks targeting government forces have recently increased across several areas of Deir ez-Zor Governorate.
