SDF denies presence in coastal Syria, warns of impersonation attempts
HASAKAH, Syria (North Press) – The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) issued on Friday a public warning, urging residents of Syria’s coastal region to remain vigilant and avoid falling victim to what it described as “malicious attempts” to deceive and harm local communities.
In an official statement, the SDF said that suspicious, unidentified vehicles bearing the flags of the Syrian Democratic Forces have been seen in several coastal villages, falsely claiming affiliation with our forces to mislead the population.
The statement called on residents to exercise caution and not be drawn into deceptive schemes orchestrated by certain actors seeking to endanger and manipulate the public.
The SDF firmly denied having any presence or operational activity in the Syrian coastal region, emphasizing that any claims to the contrary are completely false.
