Unidentified gunmen launch 2 attacks against SDF in Deir ez-Zor
DEIR EZ-ZOR, Syria (North Press) – Unidentified gunmen launched on Friday evening two separate attacks against the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in the Deir ez-Zor countryside in eastern Syria.
A military source told North Press that unidentified gunmen on a motorcycle opened fire with a machine gun on an SDF military vehicle traveling along the main road in the town of Daman, located in northern Deir ez-Zor.
The source confirmed that the attack resulted only in material damage, with no casualties reported.
In a separate incident, militants believed to be affiliated with the Islamic State (ISIS) targeted an SDF military outpost in the town of al-Bahra, also in the eastern Deir ez-Zor countryside.
The attack triggered a clash between the militants and SDF fighters, resulting in injuries among the attackers.
