Tankers transport oil from northern Syria to central regions

HASAKAH, Syria (North Press) – Dozens of oil tankers travelled on Thursday along the International Highway between the cities of Hasakah and Qamishli, transporting oil from northern Syria to other regions.

This comes after an official in the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES) denied reports of oil wells being handed over to the Syrian caretaker government, stating that such claims were inaccurate.

He emphasized that discussions are ongoing to form specialized committees tasked with negotiating various issues with Damascus, including the oil and fuel sector.
