SDF’s Abdi calls on Syrian government to stop attacks in northern Syria

RAQQA, Syria (North Press) – Commander-in-Chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), Mazloum Abdi, on Thursday called on Syria’s new administration to fulfill its duties by stopping attacks on northern Syria.

Speaking on the sidelines of the “Syrian Forum for National Dialogue: Towards a Pluralistic and Democratic Syria” in Raqqa city, organized by the Rojava Center for Strategic Studies, Abdi emphasized SDF’s commitment to continued negotiations with Damascus.

He stressed that halting Turkish attacks remains a top priority.

Abdi urged the Syrian caretaker government to pressure armed factions into stopping their assaults on northern and eastern Syria.

The forum, which brings together around 300 participants, including politicians, legal experts, and civil society representatives, is expected to conclude later today.
