SDF conducts 3 operations against Turkish bases in north Syria
KOBANI, Syria (North Press) – The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) announced on Sunday that their fighters conducted three operations targeting Turkish army bases and affiliated armed factions, aka the Syrian National Army (SNA), south of the city of Kobani, northern Syria.
In a statement, the SDF detailed that the operations were carried out at strategic locations on Qaraqozaq hill and in the village of Qabr Imo.
The SDF reported that the attacks resulted in the death and injury of several Turkish-backed militants, while five Turkish soldiers sustained injuries.
Additionally, the statement noted that Turkish warplanes subsequently launched airstrikes on the villages of Tina, Ghasq, Malha, Ja’da, and Bir Hiso—also located south of Kobani—causing damage to homes and personal property in the area.
