Unidentified gunmen target SDF posts in Deir ez-Zor
DEIR EZ-ZOR, Syria (North Press) – Unidentified gunmen targeted on Saturday evening a post and a patrol of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in the Deir ez-Zor countryside, eastern Syria.
A military source close to the SDF in Deir ez-Zor told North Press that unknown gunmen on a motorcycle attacked two SDF vehicles with automatic weapons along the main road between Shaafah and Hajin.
The source noted that the attack did not result in any casualties.
The source added that a separate incident occurred in the town of al-Busayrah, where unidentified assailants targeted an SDF military post, without causing any injuries.
To date, no group has claimed responsibility for the attacks, which have resulted solely in material losses.
