Landmine blast kills 2 brothers in Deir ez-Zor
DEIR EZ-ZOR, Syria (North Press) – Two young brothers were killed on Monday in the explosion of a landmine that targeted their car in the countryside of Deir ez-Zor, eastern Syria.
A local source from the town of Kabajib, west of Deir ez-Zor, said that a landmine exploded in a car near the outskirts of the town while the owners were heading to farm in the desert after the rainfall.
He added that the explosion resulted in the deaths of Alaa al-Jamal, 30, and his brother Ali, 32, and their car was damaged.
