AANES inaugurates 9th art forum in Syria’s Raqqa

RAQQA, Syria (North Press) – The Culture Board of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES) inaugurated on Saturday the ninth annual Arts Forum in the Raqqa Governorate, southern Syria, showcasing a rich collection of visual arts from across the country.

Sarfiraz Sharif, co-chair of the Culture Board, highlighted that the forum brought together 80 visual artists and sculptors hailing from diverse regions of Syria.

The exhibition, held under the banner “To the Rhythm of Syrian Colors,” features nearly 100 artistic creations. 

The collection included sculptures crafted from materials such as flint, agate, and wood, reflecting the diverse cultural heritage of Syria.

Sharif also noted that artists from major cities like Damascus, Aleppo, and Latakia joined the forum.
