Armenians in NE Syria hold first conference

HASAKAH, Syria (North Press) – The Armenian Social Council held on Sunday its founding conference in the city of Hasakah in Northeast Syria.

The conference held the slogan “To work, build and win despite genocide and exile.”

A number of politicians, intellectuals, representatives of political parties in Northeast Syria region attended the conference.

Representatives of the Syrian Democratic Council (SDC), Armenian Women Committee, and other political and social organizations that attended the conference, made speech.

The Armenian Social Council was first established in the city of Hasakah on April 24, 2020, to address Armenians’ affairs.
