Iraqi forces destroy ISIS hideouts in Iraq’s Kirkuk

KIRKUK, Iraq (North Press) – Iraqi forces announced on Thursday the destruction of hideouts of the Islamic State (ISIS) by two airstrikes in the Iraq’s Kirkuk.

The Iraqi news Agency stated in a statement that “two airstrikes on a group of three terrorists in Wadi al-Shay, within the Kirkuk Operations Command sector, were carried out by the valiant F-16 aircraft today.”

The Iraqi forces added that their “security forces are able to reach any place that terrorism thinks difficult to reach by targeting the dens, caves and tunnels of the terrorists.”

On Wednesday, the United States (U.S.) Central Command (CENTCOM) announced the killing of a senior leader of ISIS in Syria.
