Coalition discusses security, services with AANES in Deir ez-Zor
DEIR EZ-ZOR, Syria (North Press) – A delegation from the U.S.-led Global Coalition discussed on Saturday security and services with the Eastern Region Council of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES) in Deir ez-Zor, eastern Syria.
Salah Salman, a member of the Presidential Committee of the Eastern Region Council, said that a delegation from the coalition visited the Council and observed the operation of the sub-offices in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor, before holding a closed meeting with the Presidential Committee.
Salman told North Press that the meeting focused on the security, services, health and the agricultural challenges faced by the residents in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor.
He pointed out that the delegation emphasized the need to support the service and agriculture sector, indicating that support will be directed to the eastern region in the coming days.
