Jordan thwarts narcotics trafficking attempt on border with Syria

QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – The Jordanian authorities foiled on Wednesday an attempt to smuggle large quantities of drugs from Syrian territories, according to a statement by the Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF).

Jordanian Border Guard intercepted an attempt by a group of smugglers to illegally cross the border from Syrian territories into Jordanian territories, the statement added.
