DEIR EZ-ZOR, Syria (North Press) – The Islamic State (ISIS) stated on Friday that its militants launched two attacks against the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in Raqqa and Deir ez-Zor governorates in northeastern Syria.

The IED blast damaged the vehicle and killed two SDF fighters and injured another, according to the statement.
In another statement, the agency said that ISIS militants targeted a group of SDF fighters near the town of al-Busayrah in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor, eastern Syria. The militants attacked with machineguns, resulting in the injury of one fighter.
The SDF has yet to comment on the purported ISIS attacks.
