Unknown gunmen kill 2 government soldiers in Syria’s Deir ez-Zor

DEIR EZ-ZOR, Syria (North Press) – Unidentified gunmen killed on Sunday two members of the Syrian government forces in two separate assassinations in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor, eastern Syria. 

A military source told North Press that unidentified gunmen riding a motorcycle targeted Saad al-Mahwesh, 28, a member of the Fourth Division of the government forces, near the al-Hassan School in the town of al-Mayadin in the east of Deir ez-Zor.

The source added that unknown gunmen fatally shot Diyab al-Shahir, 36, a soldier in the government forces, near the town of al-Asharah in the east of Deir ez-Zor.
