Unidentified gunmen target individuals in Syria’s Deir ez-Zor
DEIR EZ-ZOR, Syria (North Press) – One person was killed and five others, including a fighter of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), were injured on Sunday in separate shooting incidents in Deir ez-Zor Governorate, eastern Syria.
A source from the town of al-Kishkiyah in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor reported that unidentified gunmen, who were riding a motorcycle, opened fire on Hassan al-Ghazali, a fighter of the SDF, injuring him.
The source told North Press that al-Ghazali was transferred to al-Nour Hospital in the town of Abu Hamam in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor and now he is in a good condition.
Another person named Nader al-Muhammad was shot by unidentified gunmen in the village of al-Hejjnah in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor while returning from his agricultural field. He was transferred to one of Raqqa’s hospitals and now he is in a critical condition, according to the source.
Also, a young man named Munaf al-Khayer was killed, and three others were injured in a tribal fighting among relatives of the al-Akidat tribe in the town of Diban in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor.
