Injuries among HTS in shelling with government forces in NW Syria

IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – On Wednesday, northwest Syria witnessed an exchange of artillery shelling between Syrian government forces and Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), resulting in injuries among the latter.

Sources told North Press that the Syrian government bombarded this evening the villages of al-Bara, al-Mozra, and Hafasraja, south of Idlib in response to an earlier shelling of these areas by HTS.

They added that the government forces also targeted the outskirts of al-Atarib and Kafr Nouran, west of Aleppo, in response to HTS’ shelling of their positions in Base 46, west of Aleppo.

The sources pointed out that the mutual shelling resulted in four injuries among HTS members in al-Bara and al-Morza, south of Idlib, according to initial reports, while the losses among government forces, if any, are not yet known.
