ISIS claims operations in Syria, Iraq
RAQQA, Syria (North Press) – The Islamic State (ISIS) has claimed on Saturday two military operations; one in Syria and the other in Iraq.
The ISIS-run Amaq news agency announced that the group’s militants detonated a military vehicle of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in Raqqa Governorate, northern Syria.
The operation led to the killing of the three SDF fighters and the injury of one. But field source denied the claim.
However, the SDF has yet to comment on the news.
In Iraq, the group said its militants detonated a military vehicle of the Iraqi army with an IED in al-Hawija District in Kirkuk Governorate, northern Iraq.
