DEIR EZ-ZOR, Syria (North Press) – The Islamic State group, ISIS, claimed responsibility on Wednesday, through its affiliated media outlets, for targeting a military vehicle belonging to the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) Raqqa city, northern Syria.
ISIS-affiliated Amaq News Agency said that ISIS militants detonated an explosive device with an SDF military vehicle on the road to Adnaniyah farm in Raqqa city last Sunday, June 11.
The explosion damaged the vehicle and killed five personnel inside, the agency claimed.
On June 6, ISIS claimed responsibility for a similar attack targeting an SDF vehicle in a town in southern Hasakah, northeastern Syria.
