Turkish attacks on Syria’s Manbij result in casualties
MANBIJ, Syria (North Press) – The Manbij Military Council (MMC), affiliated with the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), announced on Wednesday that four of its fighters and a civilian were killed in two separate Turkish attacks in the countryside of Manbij, northern Syria.
The MMC said in a statement that a Turkish drone targeted its fighters while saving two children who were injured by shells of Turkish forces and their affiliated armed opposition factions, aka Syrian National Army (SNA), in a farm in the village of al-Dandaniyah, northwest Manbij.
As a result of the attack, four fighters were killed and two others were injured.
In a separated incident, the Turkish forces and the SNA shelled a house in the village of Arab Hassan, in the northern countryside of Manbij, killing a civilian.
On Tuesday, the MMC announced that two of its fighters were killed in two separate Turkish drone attacks in the countryside of Manbij.
