Mine blast kills two government officers in Quneitra
DARAA, Syria (North Press) – On Sunday, two officers of the Syrian government forces were killed in a landmine explosion in the countryside of Quneitra, southwest Syria.
A local source told North Press, “Both Major Fadi Hassan al-Hassan and Lieutenant Notre Dhar al-Daher were killed in a mine explosion while they were trying to dismantle it near the town of Jabah in the countryside of Quneitra.”
The source said that the two officers hail from the countryside of Hama, adding they served in a secret military group of combat engineers.
