Turkish media reveals fraud operation in presidential elections

DAMASCUS, Syria (North Press) – Turkish media talked about fraud in presidential and parliamentary elections in the city of Giresun, northeast Turkey.

Cumhuriyet magazine publicized 100 photos of ballots on Twitter, saying that it is the first fraud operation in the elections by a polling center in Giresun.

The ballots were previously sealed by the polling center in favor of the current Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Following the incident, lawyers made objections and warnings to watch out while counting the votes, the source tweeted in Turkish.

Polling opened early this day, as voters will choose between Erdogan, who is seeking reelection; main opposition candidate and leader of the Republican People’s Party (CHP) Kemal Kilicdaroglu; and Sinan Ogan.

However, the fourth candidate Muharrem Ince, withdrew from the race on Thursday.
