Iraqi forces arrest 2 ISIS militants north of country

QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – Iraqi Federal Intelligence and Investigations Agency (FIIA) of the Ministry of Interior announced on Thursday arresting two militants of Islamic State (ISIS) north of Iraq.

The FIIA said, in a statement, that Intelligence Service of Karakh, in the Iraqi capital of Baghdad, arrested a man accused with terrorist issues.

In addition, another one, who was accused with involving with ISIS, was arrested, according to the statement.

The FIIA pointed out that the latter used to provide logistic support for ISIS in the areas of Tel Tasah and al-Horra, within the so called “state of northern Baghdad”.

On April 4, Iraqi Counter Terrorism Service announced arresting four militants of ISIS in Baghdad, Sulaymaniyah and al-Anbar.
