Unknown armed men kill individual in Syria’s Deir ez-Zor
DEIR EZ-ZOR, Syria (North Press) – On Wednesday, unknown armed men shot dead an individual in a town east of Deir ez-Zor, eastern Syria.
A local source from the town of al-Busayrah east of Deir ez-Zor said that unknown armed men, riding a motorbike, targeted Mahmoud al-Laji, 25, while he was walking on the main route in the town.
The source added that the murdered person had not joined any political or military formations.
Recently, the countryside of Deir ez-Zor has been witnessing an increase in assassination operations, targeting Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) fighters, Autonomous Administration employees, clan dignitaries and civilians, as Islamic State (ISIS) claimed responsibility for most of them.
On April 3, unknown armed men shot dead a member of Internal Security Forces of North and East Syria (Asayish) in a town north of Deir ez-Zor Governorate.
