Another IRGC advisor killed in Israel’s strike in Syria

QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – Another military advisor of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) died of his wounds in the alleged Israeli airstrike in Syria on March 31, Iranian media outlets announced on Sunday.

Meghdad Meghdani, IRGC’s advisor, was wounded during the Israeli airstrike on Friday morning and was killed, Iranian Mehr News reported.

Israel has carried out hundreds of airstrikes inside Syria over the past few years, targeting what it says to be Iranian-backed militia’s strongholds.

On March 31, the IRGC’s advisor, Milad Heydari, was killed in the Israeli airstrike near Damascus.

Earlier on Sunday, five soldiers of the Syrian government forces were wounded in an alleged Israeli airstrike in Homs, central Syria.
