170 bodies of Syrians died in Turkey’s earthquake reach hometown
AFRIN, Syria (North Press) – On Sunday, the bodies of 170 Syrians who died in Turkey as a result of the earthquake of Feb. 6 entered Syria through Bab al-Hawa border crossing.
An informed source told North Press that the toll of the bodies entered Syria through Bab al-Hawa in the past 24 hours reached 170.
On Feb. 6, a 7.8-magnitude earthquake hit southern Turkey and northwest Syria, leading to large-scale destruction and thousands of deaths.
The deadly earthquake death toll in Syria surpassed 3.581 by Saturday night.
The total toll of the bodies of the Syrians entered Syria reached 1.100.
The source added that the Turkish authorities hand over the bodies to the management of Bab al-Hawa to hand them over, in turn, to their relatives.
It is expected that the number of the Syrians died in Turkey to be increased in the few coming days.
