Government forces, Turkish-backed SNA fight in Aleppo
ALEPPO, Syria (North Press) – On Saturday, fierce clashes erupted between Turkish-backed opposition factions, also known as the Syrian National Army (SNA), and the Syrian government forces in the town of Tadif in the countryside of al-Bab, a city east of Aleppo.
An exclusive source told North Press that the clashes between the two parties occurred on the eastern part of Tadif, where light weapons, heavy machineguns and mortars were used.
Following the clashes, loud blasts could be heard in the eastern neighborhoods in al-Bab; however, no human losses were recorded.
Al-Bab city has been under the control of Turkey and its affiliated SNA factions since 2017.
The SNA held-areas continue to witness a security chaos with many clashes and recurrent explosions amid the inability of the factions to maintain security.
