US-led Coalition brings in reinforcements to Syria’s Hasakah

HASAKAH, Syria (North Press) – The US-led Global Coalition sent on Sunday military reinforcements to its bases in the countryside of Hasakah, northeastern Syria.

North Press correspondent said that the reinforcements consisted of 50 trucks that carried military vehicles and fuel tankers.

He added that the reinforcements entered the Coalition’s base at the town of Shaddadi, south of Hasakah city.

The Coalition’s base at Shaddadi is considered one of the Coalition’s most important in northeast Syria, given its strategic location which connects Hasakah and Deir ez-Zor Governorates.

The Coalition continue to bring in reinforcements to northeast Syria within the framework of its battle against the Islamic State (ISIS), which has recently increased its operations in the region.
