Man suspected of connection with ISIS killed in Syria’s Daraa
DARAA, Syria (North Press) – On Sunday, a man suspected of having links with the Islamic State (ISIS) was killed by unknown men in the town al-Yadudah in western countryside of Daraa Governorate, south Syria.
A local source told North Press, “Sha’lan Farhan al-Zoubi was killed by unknown men on a motorcycle in the town of al-Yadudah in the western countryside of Daraa.”
The source added al-Zoubi had incurred serious injuries upon which he was taken to the town of Tafas in west Daraa and lost life before being admitted to the hospital.
Al-Zoubi was charged with being affiliated with ISIS and killing a number of the Central Committee in western Daraa.
The city of Daraa and its countryside are witnessing an increase in armed attacks by unknown gunmen, the last of which took on December 23 where a person was killed and his brother injured by men riding two motorcycles in eastern Daraa.
