QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – Three individuals were killed and four others were wounded on Friday in a shooting incident at a Kurdish community center by a recently released attacker.
The 69-year-old attacker opened fire on a Kurdish community center, restaurant and a hairdresser in Strasbourg-Saint Denis in the 10th district of Paris.
So far, motives for the attack have not been revealed yet, according to authorities in Paris.
Paris Prosecutor, Laure Beccuau, confirmed that the suspect had just been released, a year after he had attacked tents at a migrant camp at Bercy on 8 December 2021 with a sword.
Local Mayor Alexandra Cordebard said the suspect was also wounded in the shooting.
Police detained the suspect without resistance and reportedly recovered the weapon used in the attack.
