Turkish authorities deport 80 Syrians to SNA-held areas in Syria’s Aleppo

AZAZ, Syria (North Press) – Turkish authorities deported on Saturday 80 Syrians to the areas held by the Turkish-backed Syrian opposition armed factions, also named the Syrian National Army (SNA), in the northern countryside of Aleppo.

An exclusive source told North Press that Turkey had deported 80 Syrian refugees claiming they did not  submit their full information and that some of them did have the temporary protection card (Kimlik).

The deported refugees entered through Bab al-Salama border crossing near the city of Azaz, north of Aleppo.

The source pointed out that most of the deportees do not have relatives or friends in the region, and that they were quickly deported without allowing them to communicate with their families inside Turkey.

On November 22, the Turkish authorities deported 72 Syrian youths from their lands under the pretext of changing their place of residence without updating the data and not having Kimlik cards, according to the source.

The Turkish authorities carry out arrest campaigns against Syrians from time to time, saying that they have committed violations, and then deport them to Syria under pretexts related to their lack of the necessary legal documents, according to many press reports.
