Russian troops examine scene of Turkish drone strike in NE Syria

AMUDA, Syria (North Press) – Russian troops, coming from the Russian base in the northeastern Syrian town   of Amuda, examined on Sunday the scene of a Turkish drone strike which took place earlier in the day near the town.

On Sunday afternoon, a Turkish drone targeted the village of Sanjak Saadoun, around 10 km south of Amuda, wounding three people as a result.

The Russian troops visited some of the families in the village to hear their testimonies regarding the strike.

The attack came in tandem with people in the city of Qamishli, 27 km west of Amuda, taking to the streets to protest the repeated Turkish attacks on northeastern Syria.
