Asayish defuse 6 IEDs in Syria’s Hasakah

HASAKAH, Syria (North Press) – Internal Security Forces of North and East Syria (Asayish) dismantled on Monday six IEDs on a main road in Hasakah governorate, northeastern Syria.

An exclusive source of the Asayish said they blocked the road that is located after the western al-Nashwa neighborhood to defuse the IEDs.

The relevant groups accomplished the work at about 01:30 pm, according to the source.

Another source suggested that the IEDs left by Islamic State Organization (ISIS) when it controlled the area in 2014.

However, the Asayish do not give any details or information about the IEDs whether they were meant to be exploded or not.

On September 22, the Asayish defused a car in the town of Tel Hamis in the countryside of Qamishli, northeast Syria.
