Fighting between government soldiers, NDF leaves causalities in Syria’s Deir ez-Zor

DEIR EZ-ZOR, Syria (North Press) –.On Wednesday, three members of the Syrian government forces and National Defense Forces (NDF) were killed and three others were wounded in a fighting between the two parties in the town of Sabikhan, eastern Deir ez-Zor, east Syria.

The two parties started fighting over dispute on cost-sharing of drugs.

A military source of the government forces told North Press that a member of a government division shot at both Abdurrahman al-Owaid and Hassan al-Wakaa, members of NDF, following verbal disputes over the sharing of drug money they had previously sold.

Two members lost their lives causing the clashes between government forces and NDF.

The two aforementioned members succumbed to their wounds and then clashes erupted, killing another member and wounding three others, the source added. 

The source confirmed that the clash lasted hours and Military Security Forces accessed the town managed to stop the clashes.

On October 4, four members of NDF were killed and two others were wounded in the town of al-Boleel in Deir ez-Zor.

Four NDF members were killed and two others were wounded in the attack that targeted their vehicle.
