Turkish forces shell 2 villages in Syria’s Hasakah

TEL TAMR, Syria (North Press) – Turkish forces shelled on Wednesday evening two villages in the northern countryside of Hasakah Governorate, northeast Syria.

A military source told North Press, “Turkish forces shelled with artillery the villages of al-Asadiya and Tel Aboud in the countryside of the town of Zirgan (Abu Rasin), north of Hasakah.”

The bombardment caused material damage to residents’ properties, according to the source.

On Tuesday, the village of Khirbat al-Shaer in the countryside of Tel Tamr town, north of Hasakah, was subjected to similar shelling

The shelling also comes after a Turkish drone strike on a construction facility in Qamishli city on Monday, which killed two people.
