Turkish drone strikes farm in Syria’s Qamishli
QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – A Turkish drone targeted on Thursday a private farm belongs to a resident of Qamishli city, northeastern Syria, causing material damage.
Rami Muhammad Omar, the farm’s owner, told North Press, “A drone bombed the farm. It is a civilian property and has no military stuff inside.”
“No casualties were recorded and damage was only material,” he added.
On Wednesday, General Command of Internal Security Forces of North and East Syria (Asayish) announced that one of its members lost his life in a Turkish drone strike in the countryside of the city of Derik (Al-Malikiyah) in far northeast Syria.
